Frequently asked questions
How do I scan my network for printers?
Join the same Wi-Fi and tap Search Wi-Fi. AnyPrint sweeps the local subnet and lists every printer it finds with its IP address and port.
How do I test a thermal printer from my phone?
Open AnyPrint, connect over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth LE, then tap Test print. The diagnostic page shows the printable area, dpi, width and command language.
How do I find the IP address of a network receipt printer?
Connect your phone to the same network and tap Search Wi-Fi. AnyPrint scans the subnet and lists printers that answer on port 9100 or announce themselves over mDNS.
Does my printer use ESC/POS or TSPL?
Connect it in AnyPrint. The app queries the printer and shows the detected command language under Printer details.
Why doesn't my Bluetooth printer show up?
AnyPrint supports Bluetooth LE. A printer that pairs in Android settings but never appears in AnyPrint is usually classic Bluetooth (SPP) only, which is not supported yet. USB support is also planned.
Can I check paper and cover status remotely?
Yes, when the printer reports it. AnyPrint reads paper out, paper running low, cover open, offline and battery level.
Is AnyPrint free?
Yes. AnyPrint is free, with no ads, no account and no tracking.
